Debut single “The Fullest Side of the Moon” out now. Second single “Times Like These” lands January 23, 2026.
After stepping away from music for a while, I needed space to recharge and immerse myself in other parts of life and creativity. That reset did what it was meant to do. I came back with momentum, clarity, and a lot to say.
Since returning, I’ve created four new music projects and written two complete albums. The first project to launch is Is It Yours, and the first single is “The Fullest Side of the Moon.”
The return: why now?
Stepping away wasn’t about quitting. It was about refuelling. I took time to focus on other interests, other work, and a different pace. Eventually the music started pulling again, but in a new way: more intentional, more cinematic, more groove-led.
That shift is the DNA of Is It Yours.
Introducing: Is It Yours
Is It Yours is my new recording project, and the first chapter I’m releasing through my label, Southern Cuba Records. It’s also my first independent release since 2020. The sound sits in a warm pocket of retro-soul, psychedelic texture, dub space, and bass-led rhythm, designed for late-night listening, drives, headphones, and those moments where atmosphere matters as much as melody.
This is the first of several releases, and it’s already building real traction. I’ve already written the full 11-track album, and these releases are part of the rollout. Tracks will drop as singles in the lead-up to the full album release on March 13, 2026.
Out now: “The Fullest Side of the Moon”
The debut single “The Fullest Side of the Moon” is the opening statement. It sets the tone for the wider world I’m building with this project, and it’s the first step toward what comes next.
What’s been especially exciting is seeing the early response. The track has already started to attract an army of fans, and the data is backing that up.
Early Spotify moment
Through backend analysis, Spotify has already shown algorithmic support for the single. That kind of early signal matters because it suggests the platform is finding listeners who genuinely connect with the track, not just passive plays.
Next release: “Times Like These” (January 23, 2026)
The second single, “Times Like These,” is planned for release on January 23, 2026. It continues the journey, with more music already lined up behind it. If you like “The Fullest Side of the Moon,” you’ll want to follow along because this project is rolling.
